www.parentsinaction.org: Provides parenting education, information, and a communications network to help parents prepare their children and teenagers to cope with social pressures and to make sound choices towards a future free of alcohol and drug abuse. This site displays PIA newsletters and information on upcoming events.
www.parentsleague.org: A not-for-profit membership organization of Independent Schools and families. The site offers a school advisory service and resource center, as well as news and information upcoming speakers and events.
www.jointschoolsny.org: A non-profit organization created and supported by the Parents Associations of Independent Schools in Manhattan and Riverdale, whose mission is to advocate interest-based a age-appropriate activities for teenagers and to provide a broad range of opportunities for socialization through common experiences.
